I have noticed that my horse has developed a solid lump/band between her eyes. She banged it a couple of weeks ago on a fence and it is hard to touch but doesn't seem to cause her any pain. She is happy for you to stroke her as usual. It just looks a bit strange

. She is only 5 so I am not sure if it is just her face changing shape. Do you have any suggestions what it could be? You cannot really see it when you are looking at her from the front, just mainly from the side....

We had a filly that bumped her head, and ended up with a similar thing. Vet said it was the growth plates in her case, but she was a yearling. It sounds like a similar thing, hard with no pain, and we just used Movelat gel on it, no idea if it helped though?! She still had it when we sold her, and she still has it now!
We also have a mare that had a kick in the snout, and has also ended up with a bony lump.
I would imagine the bump is pretty harmless, but may be difficult to get rid of!

My horse had something very similar last year. She is blind in one eye and therefore slightly more prone to bumping her head than the average horse! She spooked at something while tied up on the yard and bumped her head (right on the 'forehead') on the stable door. A small hard lump came up the next day, about as large across as a 2p coin, but only visible from the side as a raised lump. It was hard to the touch but caused her no pain at all. It took about two weeks to go away completely and first began to go down in size after a week.
