I have a six year old Westphalian Gelding standing approx 16.1hh, Fantastic Breeding lovely paces and gem to handle all ready now to back,he has the basis of a fantastic dressage star or jumping , we brought him as broken at 4 and turned away we have done the ground work with him and he is coming along very nicely here is the but, I think he is going to be way to much for the person he was brought for and that she needs something else. I am not closing the door on him at the moment so to speak and will continue to work with him but want to get an idea of value should i decide to sell and get her something else. We have now had him for approx 6 months.

Sorry to hear he's not working out for his owner.

Slightly difficult to price as I am not sure from your post how much he has done. Am I right in thinking that he was broken at 4, turned away and hasn't started ridden work properly? If yes, that would seriously put me off. I would also assume that he is a serious handful if the owner has decided he is too much for her before she had even sat on him. But perhaps I have misunderstood your post?

I am the owner but I broght him for my stepdaughter, but i think he is going to be to strong for her and to be honest i do not want nor need a second horse...

This thought is coming from working him in general, although he is a total poppet to handle from the ground under saddle i can see he is going to be very forward going, i can let children handle and groom him etc, and as he is getting fitter he is feeling more well so to speak, we brought him from a dealer who brought him from the breeders field, where he had been since he was broken and turned away..
He is only just turned six and yes i appriciate he il older than normal for re backing this in no way means he is over the hill i am just trying to get an idea of how much to advertise him for should i decide that its not going to work out
