I know its not horse related but people here seem to know answers to most things. So here is the questions, where can i get dear antlers from? My little cousin just said he wants some for his birthday (he is animal mad and collects skulls) also on side note if anybody has spare skulls there is a boy in surrey who would love them. ps i do not claim he is 100% normal but he is nice lol.

He does want the whole thing, could buy him ones from pets at home and call it a puzzle and FfionWinnie i suppose i can understand the horns the skulls are more what i don't understand having but then again I'm not a 10 year old boy lol

He already has them, as well as fish, birds, selection of rodents, fox etc.

He wants Horse head, no chance on that one,
a pigs head as i ride on a pig farm he thinks its reasonable does not realise they don't kill them on site and i have no idea what happens to skulls
he also dreams of an elephant skull, don't think that would fit thru a doorway and most likely illegal.

There are others he wants but not as amusing to me.

I have a skull collection. I found them while I've been out walking except for a couple that I've been given. I have also found deer antlers in Ashridge forest. Stags lose their antlers every year and then grow new ones, so if you're lucky you can spot them on the ground.

Not at all. If its good enough for David Attenborough...........

I'm very interested in anatomy and that's why I like them. Nothing 'sick' in any way - I certainly don't go around killing kittens.

Well I am a zoology student so know a lot of people with this kind of interest including people who will get calls from distant friends saying 'i've found a dead whale! Gather the team for a dissection' one of whom has no sense of smell which is handy :-) he does a lot of the 'preparing' of new specimens.

I wouldn't go that far myself but looking at skeletons is really interesting and we analyse poo! OK perhaps its not for everyone haha!

I bet this kid could teach me a thing or two about skulls :-)

Hope my boys will want to analyse skulls etc at ten better than pysched out in front of a games screen fighting & shooting & playing against cyber people they have never met.
I have several stuffed specimens, missed out on an elephants skull once at auction it made 1k which was a lot of money
