after working in the school today, my daughter and I took neds round the block for a cool down.
Decided to take the short route back up the road next to the gallops.
Low and behold half way up two neds come thundering past on the gallops, my mare decides a lion 'must' be chasing them so proceeds full pelt up the road, my poor daughter was having kittens (she's quite a nervous rider) luckily she was on my old boy who 99% of the time is golden. I manage to pull mare to a scretching halt at the top of the hill and turn around to check on daughter, her ned is getting a bit upset about being left behind (he's too lazy to tank off) but decides to start dancing around nonetheless. As i turned to face her mare tanks back down the road full pelt. A car has now pulled up behind my daughter. Im going full throtle down the hill and manage to pull mare to a halt.
I don't think i'll take her on that route again
