I'm not an expert by any means but I think she could do working hunter. Ellie did this class a couple of weeks ago (I think) and shes 14.2

Right heres a few that Gwennap have that you could both do:

Tack and turnout

Best combination- judging on 25% tack and turnout, 25% riding, 25% manners and 25% compatibility

Hunter type horse/pony

Novice WH 2ft 3''

Small WH 2 ft6'' exceeding 14.2hh

Open WH 2 ft9'' exceeding 15.2hh

Ah cool thanks soph, I wanted to do the working hunter classes really as I think shes best suited for that kind of thing, but as were only just jumping again I was a bit nervous to do any bigger then 2ft 3ish, (duck away) I no im a wimp! Coz there normally 2ft 6 minimum arnt they?

I try my hardest not to jump any bigger than 2ft 3'' whenever LOL!
XC I dont mind jumping a bit bigger if I shut my eyes!

She looks like a nice WH type mare. theres quite alot on this weekend. Have you got 1 of those annual schedules or a west briton?

Ye me to, It weird coz out hunting i'll jump a 3ft + hedge or bank but when it comes to show jumps I get nervous!

Well I dont have my own transport so cant get anywhere, was hoping to go to the two Scorrier and Chacewater shows this week and next but can only get a left next week

At Gwennap level, just enter as many as she's fit enough to do and you can afford, see which you both enjoy most/do best in, and refine things from then on. The whole point is to have fun anyway, so don't worry too much about it.
A well behaved, smartly turned out horse who does what it's asked and looks like an enjoyable ride should do OK in most classes until you up your game to the bigger shows.

Many local novice WH classes are smaller than 2'6, I promise!
