After much deliberation, and based on him opting to roll on grass, not mud for the last two days, I decided it was safe to turn Alf out for a few hours before clipping the bits of his head and neck that he wasn't up for last time.

He had another one, just before I bought him in, just to make sure I couldn't clip him! The bad news is, it's frosty out there, so he and his laminitic mate will be staying in their pen til the frost is off the grass. He'll probably roll in poo now...
