Just got back home from visiting a livery yard where someone has become so exasperated at not being able to load, they have turned to us as a last resort.

Well, job sorted in an hour and a half, pony will load by himself now.

Awful attitude from some of the livery people. Very disappointed when the pony turned out not to be impossible to load, lol.

Feel for some folk on livery, must be very hard.

OMG, some people!! Green eyed monsters:D:D. OH had a reputation of being a horse beater as he could have a horse backed and at a show, jumping with 2 weeks, god knows how they came to that conclusion as he never carries a stick!!!

Well done for helping to sort out the horse- but as for the attitude that is what I have come to expect from most liveries I have been on. Nothing seems to please horse people more than watching someone struggle and fail. IMO it is because a lot of them are "experts" in their own minds and want to come to your rescue and offer the piece of golden wisdom that will sort your "problems".

I survive on livery by keeping my head down and getting on with my own horses. Trouble is unless you are one of the bitchy gang, you are often seen as being snooty :(

I would much rather be Snooty than a B with an itch!!

is it a good thing to have a newly backed horse jumping at a show within 2 weeks?

Perhaps he just wanted to pull a cart! :p

Sorry Pale Rider I couldn't resist ;) but you have to agree you set yourself up for that one with your comments on another thread.

On a lighter note, well done for helping them and yes living on a livery yard is a bitch fest. Like Liz66 said I keep my head down and concern myself with the horses not other people.
