Does anyone know of any good livery yards in the Nottingham area ? I am at Newton at the moment but I am considering a change. Would also consider rent or part rent of a yard if the right sort came along.

I'm south Notts and theres LOADS of yards in this area, just depends if thats too far.

Well I live in Radcliffe, which is in the Southeast (more east) of Nott's Near West Bridgeford.
I am looking for a DIY place possibly part livery dependent on cost really. Must have a decent sized ménage with a set of jumps and if outdoor with lights as I often have to ride at 8pm or so. Anything on top of that would be a bonus, horse walker, cross country course (We have one here and would miss it). Also must have good hacking, I dont like endless road hacking.
On top of it all price! I understand that with costs going up and the economic state etc it is necessary for price increases to occur but I currently feel I am being taken for a ride (pardon the pun) with the amount of livery I am expected to pay.
As for vale view I thought that was in leictershire? I seem to remember when travelling there in the lorry it took about 45 mins to drive to so it may be a bit far if its near there

Sorry Bexaco, you wont get all of that round here
VV is the only place that have everything you want, its about 15mins from Radcliffe, but isnt cheap, but the facilities are excellent! Swan Lodge is also straight up the A46, and has good turn out, hacking, school and walker, and isnt too expensive...a friend had her horse on livery up there until very recently. Did you mention you work in Keyworth? there are alot of yards in that area I believe?!

I know some DIYs in east bridgford, or scarrington with school, but no xcountry or horse walker
