this is the first year I have had a horse all year round...
My horse had laminitis (Only a tad) this summer and has been on restricted grazing all summer and I am feeding Happy Hoof.
She is doing very well but as I struggle with summer riding she is still a bit on the tubby side (she is a cob, 15ys)
so my question is as winter is approaching should I keep her on happy hoof? is it a feed that can cope with winter needs or do I need to think about changing it to something else. if so and recommendations. I will be riding more over the autumn and winter. say 3-4 times a week 1-2 hours each time with daytime turnout from 6am til dark.
She needs to slowly loose a bit more weight over the winter but not too much and she will be stabled at night.
