My friends daughter is currently riding their yard owners pony. They are having lots of lessons and trying really hard with their schooling but the rider is a novice and as a result the pony is getting an "upside down" neck
How could they rectify this? The owner has offered to ride her in draw reins once a week but I don't know whether this would be enough and i'm not personally a fan of draw reins in many cases) She's fed from a haynet (and this can't be changed) and isn't turned out much (again, can't be changed) so I know this is causing part of the problem but wondered what could be done to help improve this?
Thanks in advance for your help
