Am hankering over new show jacket, eventually, but am going to order a beagler in the next week or so for dressage. Now.... do I go Navy or Black!? I know navy is correct for women, but I am still quite fond of black for dressage, and spes cos G has black mane and tail.... and black stressage saddle.... but black isnt as flattering.... think both will go with my tweed jacket, so opinions please!????

navy is def more flattering, and if you want to sell it you will get more money for it! But dressage peeps often have black, so unless you are showing, it would be OK either black or navy ...

Can't you swap your unwanted black with the navy one that Kat doesn't want to buy? !!

Now that's a plan!

I think I have to buy one with a harness though as some shows insist

Got to be Navy, far more flattering. Black can be very harsh. Personally I hate the harshness of contrast in black jacket/white breeches. IMO think beige/cream/canary breeches with navy jacket and hat is far more feminine and forgiving.
