NOW I know why 4x4s are so expensive!

I agree if you can't drive or manouvre them then perhaps they should rething having one. What annoys me is people that do a short cut through our country lanes, then either cannot or refuse to reverse when meeting other vehicles! If they can't reverse they shouldn't come through our lanes!

Why shouldn't they? How is this any different to them driving their kids to schoool in any other vehicle? 4x4's are not necessarily any worse for the environment then any other type of car so it can't be that that's the problem. As for not 'needing' a 4x4 to tow a trailer etc - well very few people need to be able to tow a trailer to take their horses out and about - they just want to.
