The other day I posted a thread on reccomended bridles. I got several replies all saying different things and I have done research and it seems I have looked at about a billion bridles!

Now, I am not sure. I have sort of narrowed it down a bit based on price and reviews. I could go for the cut out headpiece (which gives more room for the ears) like the Kieffer Comfort I, II or III. But I have seen the Sabre Cordoba Comfort bridle which looks nice and has lots of reviews - it has all the padding etc but no cut out headpiece. Or, there is Jefferies, which are expensive but I have seen a few I like - are there headpieces any good? I also like the Stubben - the one with the comfort poll headpiece called the Passion something and there is another Stubben 191 Imperial which just looks like a nice everyday bridle. So...

What do you guys think ...

-Kieffer Comfort I, II, or III

-Sabre Cordoba Comfort

-Jefferies (no particular one but prob a comfort one)

-Stubben 191 Imperial OR

-Stubben 1800 Passion which I am leaning towards having had a closer look.

Tea and cake for anyone who can be bothered to post!

no fuss, no bulk and excellent quality!

I had the sabre one for a young horse I sold, t was lovely apart from the sheepskin bit on the crank it always seemed to slip and was fiddley to use on a young impatient horse.

For Len I have the jeffries IR with a plain flash noseband, really love it, beautiful quality.

I have both Sabre and IR, love both. My Sabre has a leather jaw pad which doesn't slip at all - you can also get them without the crank.
