Yup standard polo tack. I worked at a polo yard and remember having a lesson on how to do up an argentine girth, it is literally a knot :O saddle stayed put mind!

I meant that it was not, in itself, doing anything directly to the horse ;)....

Don't think it is photoshopped. Saw some Olympia footage year before last I think it was of that horse being jumped in just the bit with a strap holding it in and I seem to remember them doing rather well (got into the jumpoff at any rate)
