Okay - so loaning to kids is a thing of the past - after the one whom deciced to get her mate to hold him whilst she kicked him in the belly - she is 12 - lied about it - so knew it was wrong obviously......

so what on earth do I do with him now ?? heart says keep him and find him a job to do

I had the same problem, lovely 12 hander, too sharp for children to ride so initially a small adult friend rode him with great success doing wh and dressage then when she ran out of time I broke him to drive which he took to like a duck to water, used to pick the kids up from school with him and his little trap. Great fun!!

You need to find the right home. A home with an experienced adult and at least 1 pref 2 children for pony to be passed between. I would like to think we were that type of home. A 7yo boy and 9yo girl, but unfortunatly my stables are full, and they have a 10.3hh, 12.1hh and 13.1hh ponies which were all 'f2gh' so i hope you find a good home or job for your pony, but please rest assured that there are good people and homes out there. X

Just bought my hubby a welsh sec a for his birthday, she mainly a companion for my freaked out mare, but we both thought she'd make a nice driving pony and as he retires next year I'm saving up to buy him some driving lessons and see if there is someone local that will come and break her into drive.:D
