Well they were all it it tonight  I took the dogs out for a walk as soon as I got home tonight, went up to the wood, and chaos ensued

Islay was feeling particularly feral tonight and was one of the worst for shooting off into the undergrowth after non-existent things to chase, Amy nearly had a pheasant which luckily managed to take off just in time, and Flick was trying her best to lame herself by running into things all the time...

then as I walked up the last part of the circular walk, I glanced behind me and saw all three, then glanced behind me a few moments later and they had all gone

I walked back up to the top of the track where all the paths meet, expecting at least one of them to re-appear before I had got there. But no sign....no sound... nothing! It took about five-ten minutes of whistling and calling to get them back - Amy was first ;), then Flick, then Islay finally turned up from goodness knows where :D:D:D

Tonight I have three very very tired dogs :D:D:D

Must admit I havent worked out which one was bleeding very slightly as they ate their tea - I have checked three mouths and twelve legs/paws and cant find anything obvious!

I am always amazed how such big dogs can disappear so quietly and completely. In the middle of the night they make a hell of a racket at times! Interesting that....

I do love my dogs.... I just waited for them to come back, knowing perfectly well that they would do, and they did :D They were so tired coming back that they dragged behind me on their leads all the way home :D

hehe, bless them! My lot were very manic today too, must be something in the air, it really does feel a bit like spring may finally be springing!

Sounds about the same as my greyhound. Since getting a terrier a I have realised just how fast he is. Little dog is going flat out whilst greyhound is in a steady lope.

Glad they were all OK and just tired.

I don't quite have the nerves for such escapades any more, that is why I prefer a breed with low, to none, desire to hunt.
