We are going to our first NPS show on sunday, is anyone else going to the Welsh medal show at Selby?? People tell me the standard is much higher than that of ponies UK. Saying that I shouldn't be worried my little D is extremely well behaved so it all comes down to whether the judge likes him or not!! We have mainly done agricultural shows with it being his first season and done really well, am i going to be in for a shock???

I'm not going to that particular show, although I am an NPS member and go to many of the shows. I will be at the summer champs. I would say that the standard is usually quite high, but not always, just depends on the number of qualifiers they have. Anyway good luck, and remember you'll be going home with the ''best pony'', whatever the judge thinks.

Thank U, We did really well he took champion in Novice Ridden then took 3rd in Open, not sure how she judged the Open but we were dead chuffed, he is so good well mannered and consistent, hopefully in the next year or 2 he will mature and have that great trot that most d's seem to have! A welshy expert seems to think it will come with maturity!! Heres hoping
