NS Universal with leather curb

Can you take the curbs off? It looks like you can but I just thought I'd check

I have a waterford universal. I bought the curb but I've never used it with it yet. That is being reserved for fun rides.

I'm pretty sure its identical to the kk sprenger universal and that doesn't come with a curb strap, so I would think yes.

I bought mine without a curb; I don't need it as well.
I've been really pleased with this bit, good luck with it.

The curb is just a leather strap that can be removed easily. They are great bits by the way.

Yeah, I use mine on Sov without the curb, he really likes it, if he ever gets too strong its nice to have the option of putting the curb strap back on.
