NS Verbindend-sizing?

does anyone have an idea on sizing in the ns verbindend? My cob has a fleshy mouth and takes a 6' jointed D snaffle normally,have heard you should go up a size due to the angled shape,and its a loose ring- so not sure whether to go for a 12mm in a 6 1/4 or 6 1/2?

I have the same size as all the other bits and it fits OK.

I am just going through the same thing with my cob, he is usually in a 5.5inch myler snaffle so I ordered a quarter of an inch bigger as advised by ns but that turned out to be too small so I actually need a 6inch verbindend for him. I have also just bought of Ebay a ns waterford snaffle in 6 inch and this is two small for him so I am confused!.

I bought the 5.5" as`recommended, but needed the 5.75"..... Star took a 5.25" in a`straight bar snaffle.

i would go up 1/2" - mine is in 5.5 but usually has 5"
last horse had 6" and was usually 5.5"
