Numb. Tragic accident, RIP Herbie

My beautiful Herbie died this morning. He was tied up, had a silly moment when the bridle was going on, pulled away in panic and the headcollar/leadrope didn't break as they wopuld normally. Took a piece of wood from the stable with him as he ran away and tripped over it, breaking his neck. He died almost instantly

We could do nothing except watch in horror

His head and neck was under his body and I pulled it out but it was too late.

My poor daughter having to witness this. We are both shellshocked.

Give your horses a huge hug today they can be taken so quickly
