Our sweet 6 month cocker has died at the vets due to an internal infection. I can't...Someone pinch me and awake me please, this dream isn't funny anymore.
Would write more but hands shaking. Will add pics of her tomorrow.
Rip Bella Aug 2012-Feb 2013.
We expected to have you for 12 more years, but you stomped all over our hearts in the time you had.

I'm so sorry for your loss, cockers are beautiful dogs with such lovely natures. Think of the good times you had with her, I'm sure she enjoyed her life to the full with you xx

Thank you all.
It's still so raw and bizarre,I can see her toys all strewn across the garden,no running under my feet as I make brekkie.
Yes,this'll get a bit of getting used to.
We have a 11 year old jr is she likely to be okay? they didn't get on as such, but Bella was part of the ' pack',and ziggy looked out for her, kept her in order....Ziggy seems happy as Larry at the moment though...thanks

Such dreadful news. I really am so sorry.

Having, over the last year or so, taken on work Cockers, and taking an interest in them, I've done some research, and it seems that the death rate amongst young Cockers is higher than would be expected.

You may not be in the mood for it at the moment, and that would be understandable. I don't mean to be insensitive, but have you asked your Vet for their thoughts?

Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Alec.

Hi Alec, thanks,we already kind of know, vets believe looking at xrays and etc that she swallowed something, probably sharp and it perforated the gut. I don't massively know, talking to vets tonight. Still getting head round it.
Thank you all for kind comments.

I am so sorry for your loss. The only words I can say are once the pain gets less lovely happy memories will take over.
Once again I am sorry, take care of yourself. Sending you hugs.xx
