I just screwed mine onto the back

If it was my own trailer then I would screw it on, when I borrow trailers I tend to use cable ties to secure it.

Buy a proper rear plate, and attach it with correct screws.

I stuck mine on with carpet tape. Broke the bloody number plate trying to get it off!!

Not sure if you are asking how to get a plate or how to fix it? Take your vehicle registration paperwork to a place such as Halfords (or preferably somewhere cheaper!) and they will print a plate, which you then need to affix with correct screws.

I have one of the number plate holders they put on HGVs and their trailers means you can swop the number plate easily which I do all the time .

My Ifor 511 has a holder that you just clip the number plate into. I got the number plate made up at Halfords as per a previous poster.

I use sticky velcro pads I got from halfords. OH changes his car frequently so it's easier to take the old one off and velcro on the new one. Te sticky is really strong, have never lost a plate.

That sounds EXCELLENT.I have no diy skills whatsoever.

I bought a sticky one off ebay its made with correct reflective plastic etc and I just stuck it over the existing plate

When had two 4 x 4's (excessive I know!) this was the easiest option, and we still have it on now.
