Numbers on a saddlecloth...

very much a D'oh! question, methinks...

Mum gave me a nice white dressage numnah, along with a pair of number discs, for Christmas. What I want to know is this: what side should I stitch the disc onto - near or off? or do I put one on both sides!?!? I've never had one before, so sorry for being a thicko!!!!

I used to have mine on the near side....don't ask me why tho, prob cos everything else to do with horses is done mainly on the near side!!!

Ditto, also put it on near side, though don't know why!!!

i have one on each side..... but i haven't been to a dressage comp in about 7 years now!
