ThanksI've got one - really helped. I think I have an extra large one as I had an 18" saddle at the time. Plenty of clearance and the length is good. If your saddle is any smaller go for the large - the company were very helpful when I phoned them. The Barnsby non slip pad didn't work very well but I've seen some interesting pads on the 'Horse health' web site.
Thanks for your reply my cob is very flat backed as well so may need a sticky pad aswellI use a small one for my daughter's 16" gp saddle as well as a stephens sticky pad. The two together seem to make all the difference as the pony is quite flat on top and without them the saddle (new one fitted two months ago by master saddler) can easily slip to one side unless girthed up too tightly. I like the fact that there is a non slip surface on both sides so that the saddle doesn't slip on top of the numnah.
