Hi, just wondering if anyone has had any experience of any Numero Uno offspring, good or bad? Would like to know whether they are generally trainable, any quirks etc. I have a youngster by him and have been told that they can be a bit 'hot', but up to now (touch wood) he has been really good. Also, similar question re Purioso, as my youngster's dam is by him - thanks!

Numero Uno youngstock are quite sort after on the continent and also in this country by those in the know.

Tim Gredley has 3 of them, inlcuding TIMO, a good winner for him.........
Pennie Cornish loves them...........
The ones that I have had in the pasthave all been sweeties to deal with..........

mbequestrian - that's good to know. Mine has a lovely temperament. He is very brave, always interested in what is going on and very willing to learn. He is really sharp, but not in a naughty way. Was just interested to know what other people's experiences were!

Libero H has bred so many good showjumpers though, so they must be trainable to some extent???

I rode a very sensitive NU mare, she was an very talented and careful jumper but tricky in the mouth and a bit quirky. She wanted to please though and was not at all nasty
