Bud's been unshod for coming up to 4 years now. We've started doing a lot more jumping recently and getting out and about.
We jumped at an RC area qualifier at the weekend and almost went over where he skidded on the grass round a corner. We steadied up and got time faults for both our rounds. Problem is he's jumping at Kent County in a few weeks. Do glue on shoes ruin their feet? And can you put studs in glue on shoes? Or do we just go back to a full set of traditional shoes (he's a pro at pulling them off, which is why he's unshod and has great feet now)? We're not doing massive heights - 1.10m/1.15m absolute max second round if the course builders mean. Or is there an alternative? We need something as it was very dry ground Sunday when his back end went out from under him!
Told you it was a numpty question...
