... wash your dog with human shampoo??

OH took Freddie for lovely walk in the forestry this morning and he's come back looking like he's been dragged through a hedge backwards, soaking wet, filthy and smells like old pond water!

I have some Alberto Balsam Tea tree shampoo and conditioner - do you think it would be ok?

I would say so as its tea tree

mind you I have been known to wash my ferret in my OH's Lynx shower gel!!

No seriously though I have used tea tree shampoo on my horse before and its always been fine

No I would not use this shampoo on a dog, I would think it is a bit too harsh, having used it on myself.

No it drys out skin ad can be harsh and make them itchy.

I can recommend one made by groomers I think, its lavender and mint and leaves my dogs coat lovely and silky and smells lovely.

I did get some grooming spray - DON'T DO IT - unless you are an olympic ice skater ha ha, or if you do make sure you only do top half

Johnsons baby shampoo is ok, if u have no or cannot get dog shampoo, as it's very mild.
