Numpty Question for those using Rugs with Liners

I use the liner system for turnouts so have a 0g Rambo and then various liner weights to go in it. My query is really is a 0g with say 300g the same as a rug that’s weighted already as a 300g or does the 0g outer rug plus liner weight mean it’s giving you a bit more?

I'd say it gives a bit more than a standard 300g, as you also have the layer of air between the two rugs acting as a bit of insulation.

Agree. Layers add warmth.

More but not as much as 50gm IMO.

I would use 100gm liner and 100gm outer, 200gm turnout rug, no fill turnout and 200gm liner all as pretty interchangeable.

It has two additional layers of air that a single thicker rug does not have. The layer between the two rugs and the layer between the no fill and its lining. I'd guess that probably adds about 50g warmth.
