I had my mares back shoes off about 4 weeks ago as her feet are solid and we are not doing so much hacking now.
Just lately when I ride her in the school she is a bit "awkward" she is usually a bit lazy if she can get away with it but she is at the moment very anti about it.
I feel I am arguing with her to get her to work on the bridle.
Could this have anything to do with her shoes coming off?
I am thinking in a unlevel way as in is her back end slightly lower than her front? I know lots of horses work with front shoes only but has anybody had this problem?
She has had hock problems a year ago and a pelvis issue before I bought her.
Sorry if this sounds stupid and the difference must be very minimal but it is the only thing I can think of, it is not like the usual awkward when her saddle needs adjusting?
BTW Saddle fits, Chiro not due for another 3 months.
(Maybe she has the winter blues!)
