Numpty worming question

If there are two fields separated by stock fencing ( yes, I know, stock fencing is not ideal ) and on one side the horses are regularly wormed and on the other side are two who are not, can the worms migrate from one field to the other?

Always wondered this myself, I have a muck heap in the corner of one field and wonder how much I need to fence it off? so a bump for you.

Only if the muck heap is adjacent to the stock fencing, and then only a very short distance. Sorry can't remember actual distance. Just a few feet.
