Hi,whos done nurstead xc and south-of-england??not 100% on nurstead as a 1st p.N as heard its up to height & uses some novice jumps??? SOE meant to be nice 2 get round and live 2 tell the tale!! any pics of either courses wud be appreciated, thanks

have some pictures but will have to upload them. soe is a better first pn than nurstead. Nurstead is more of a course to ride as it has a lot of hills and is quite upright, whereas soe is kinder. also sj tends to be kinder - as it is on a flat prepared arena. Put some sj piccies up the other day.

Just spoke to the person organising SOE and she assures me that it is a nice inviting course with plenty of alternatives at the 'tricky' ones, suitable for a first time PN and young inexperienced horses.

I'm in the same position as you but think I'm just going to take the bull by the horns and send off my entries for the SOE PN! Let me know if you are going to enter and we can meet up for moral support, I will be needing plenty of it!

I'm at Arrow near Dartford, got balloted for Munstead so not going there, going to have a look at Nurstead next weekend hopefully as have heard some scary stories about the course but general concensus is that s of e is a good one so sending off entries this weekend.

Good luck at Munstead to everyone who is going!
