Last week we brought our third spaniel. Everybody told us we were crazy and I think there right!! His names harry and he is totally nutty!!! I already have one hyper active spaniel who everyone thinks is crazy(he's well behaved but needs his exercise or will happily exercise himself) harry is just off the scale though! He's 10 weeks now and from 7.30am til 7pm he is just like a hyper active child and is into everything. Will happily play fight with the older dogs aswell. I love it when he's asleep. Can't wait til his jabs are over and done with and we can start some playing in the fields

Pics!!! What type of spaniel? Mines 14wks at the mo & loopy bouncing everywhere but good as gold hasn't chewed anything & naps regularly throughout the day.

Oooh, my dream is 3 spaniels!! My little springer is now 14 weeks old and as mad as a box of frogs too:D
She does like to chew although I can't remember her older sister being as bad. But it is lovely having the 2 spangles especially when they are snuggled up together fast asleep:D:D
Need pics of your spangle pup!

Sorry for late reply but i knew i wouldnt be welcome if I didnt reply with pics. Unfortunatly my iphone is poor at taking pics and as he has an all liver face he seems to be quite hard to pick up on it so these are the best I have
He looks bigger in this picture than in real life but my other half is a very tall man

im basically writing this because im jealous, My neighbor has the.most.beautiful liver spaniel (altho id call him chocolate coloured - officially there isnt such a thing!) with matching melted chocolate eyes and He is THE most well behaved dog.

For some reason the owner had left him entire and my bitch was in season this summer (a sable border collie possibly crossed with something else somewhere along the line) and if i could have rehomed the puppies or brought myself to mate her or go against everything i knew about backstreet breeding at all id have loved for him to be the sire his temperament was so fabulous.
p.s. she was spayed last week.

loving your spaniel pix :)

The one on the right looks like one of my youngsters. (pic below left)

Re the hyper thing, is it just mad springer stuff (my two youngsters didn't do the sleep for hours thing that my first two did) or might it be food related? Think mine was partly food related: the breeder fed them on Pedigree puppy  so we weaned them off that pretty quickly!

Just general mad springer stuff I think, hes getting better and I'm sure my last one was as crazy but hes now 1 so ive forgotten his tiny puppy days.

Lula one of mine is more chocolate than liver, he was so dark as a pup that some thought he was black at first glance but unfortunatly a summer outside has bleached him slightly
this was alfred as a pup
