Apparently they must wait to within 48 hours of the event to cancel or they lose their money BE put in, so decision is apparently being made tomorrow morning.
I honestly can't see how they could run it, the ground here where the horses are standing by the gates is over a foot deep in mud, and we don't get mud here even in winter like that! our soil is granite and drains incredibly well, Nutwell is sandy but also clay..
The rain has been less today but the weekend is predicted to be very wet, if so they will have to tow boxes on and off the field I reckon, and the place will be a quagmire.
I'll be watching the website tomorrow and will post here if any decision is made.
