Not sure what the class is, but it's a bit like an IN.. ie Novice dressage, a small Novice SJing (somewhere inbetween PN and N) and a PN XC..
And for the first time since Powderham, Orla pony had the kinda ground she needed, it was fab!!
She did an ok test, pretty much upto the usual Orla standard!! She is rather consistant in the dressage.. She scored a 32, which i think left her in 5th after the dressage..
Onto the SJing, and it was causing total carnage although i couldn't work out why! There were alot of horses stopping
Orla is rather hard to SJ, as she has no understanding of 'shortening' therefore you either go on a long stride, a very lond stride, or an even longer stride!!
That said however, she did a lovely clear-round!! good girl Orla..
There was one slightly worrying moment.. when cantering into the first fence, i noticed that it had been knocked down by the competitor before me and not put back up, so i stopped and waved to the commentry box, who just staired back at me me looking blank, untill they noticed the fallen pole, said how sorry they were, and re-rang the bell for me to start again..
Then the XC.. i thought Nutwell Court had done a fine job presenting a lovely XC course!! With plenty of questions, but which i also thought were fair!!
Again, she did a lovely clear round, but unlucky to get 4.4 time-faults...
Hope you don't mind Santa, but i thought i'd post some of your pics!!
