Hello.
Has anyone used the nuumed anti slip numnah? It appears these are 2 versions, either rubbery mesh on both sides or mesh on the horse side and a sticky pvc on the saddle side. Any feedback on the different types as they are quite pricey.

Thanks

I have the rubber mesh both sides. It's about 9 months old now and washes well and hasn't worn.
We use it most of the time and it really does work. It doesn't slip down over the withers and gives plenty of clearance.

I've tried Barnsby slip pad - that doesn't have any straps and I had to sew some on.
Throwgood - too straight in flap and a bit short in the back. I have 17 1/2" saddle and found the seams rubbed under the saddle.

After all the probs I had I paid £70 for numed but it's the best one - I'll get another one.

Yup they are pricey, I use 1 as my horse is slightly croup high, it's ok but don't think it is really worth the money, I am going to make my own by getting the same rubbery material from Halfords and cut it to shape of numnah and then sew it on. I have the rubbery stuff on both sides :)

Hi, i have the one with rubber stuff both sides, had it for about a year, never slips, washes well (still looks new). Worth the money for me :) I use it under my show saddle aswell.

I have one with the web on one side,it`s brilliant.Saddle doesn`t move at all and it makes a difference to how my mare moves because she`s very sensitive and gets confidence from a saddle that doesn't move about.:)
