After some consideration, OH decided that his Trait Breton was not really suitable for what he wanted, and sadly was sold. OH then bought a new horse three weeks ago.
On Saturday, we gave the new horse, Sander, his first real job.

Before I post those photos, I thought you might like to see him before, under saddle and in harness.
Click on the videos.

So, Saturday, his first job.
St Euny Church (where OH and I got married)

The Gatehouse to the Church

The Service was at Noon and the bride was arriving by car. We waited up the hill until the Bells stopped ringing, and then drove down. This video (please click on picture) was us arriving.

We then had to wait...and wait...

We brought out the Champagne that we had been keeping cool for the Bride and Groom

We moved back in front of the Church

The Bride and groom, Bridesmaids and Congregation came out. After lots of photos and confetti, they got into the Victoria and had a glass of Champagne each.

We prepared to set off to the Reception.

Not even a single view, let alone any replies.

Thanks guys:(

What fabulous photos. That's a lovely horse and very well behaved. And you were lucky with the weather!
I hadn't realised before that you did weddings.
P.S. I've only just logged on;)
And this is my second attempt to post!

He looks like a real super star!! So relaxed waiting around all that time... You must be pleased with him hope he goes from strength to strength... xx

Don't know about anyone else but I have had trouble replying to posts tonight. And I can't get the videos to work either!

Lovely horse though, he looks very patient, hope your husband is pleased with him. What breed is he?

He's gorgeous, love the pic of him trotting......you must be so pleased with him.

Can't see videos at the moment, will pop back for a peep later......

Thank you guys.:D

We disappeared several ages down. I'm sorry some of you can't view the videos at the moment.

Sander is an 11yo Gelderlander and stands at 17hh.

That is one classy horse. The carriage looks fab with all the flowers and the champers. Would have loved to have seen the Trait Breton too.

Ooooh no. Don't like him at all./ I think you should send him to me, it will be tough, but I will take him off your hands...:p:D

Keep him away from Rara007, she's looking for a HDT horse :p

TBH I'd like him, he's that rare thing, a gelderlander that actually has a backside!

Awww, thanks guys, thought nobody liked him.

Some answers to questions here, but not in order.
His breeding, sorry, Passport not returned yet. He came ready broken, so can't give a timescale on this lad.
He will be used mostly for driving, but will be ridden at times, but not by me, we don't have long enough a stepladder to get up there!!:p

We are really pleased with him.
And, just for happytohack, this is the Breton we have just sold.
