I think the OT was referring to 'off topic' but could he wrong ?Hi there, are you looking for an occupational therapist (OT) or a psychological therapist / counsellor? If it's an OT you're after, I am very happy to help you navigate services or signpost you, do PM me. Apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick.
I dont know any local to you but usually about finding the right person for you so you may have to ‘kiss a couple of frogs’ there is a lady who does horse therapy in Warrington (i cant remember her name but i could find it if you are interested)

Thank you very much for that.If you are looking for a private counsellor, have you tried searching https://www.bacp.co.uk? Members sign up to the terms and conditions of the association. I have used several of their members for clients of mine and the counsellors have been of a high standard. You can filter by area and speciality and of course, have a chat first with anyone you like the look of, to see if they might be what you want. Alternatively, you can search the BPS register https://www.bps.org.uk/find-psychologist for a counselling psychologist but they will be more expensive than a BACP counsellor as they are more highly qualified. They are regulated by the HCPC and again, you can always make an enquiry and see if you like the sound of one. Good luck!
