(whispers) this is possibly a post for soap box rather than new lounge? Don't shoot me down, not having a go just pointing in the right direction.

Does it absolutely have to be kittens? I know you said you'd try the rspca and they don't have any but they must have full grown cats looking for a home? I know kittens are a joy but they will grow up really quickly and then you'll have an adult cat anyway. I recently adopted an 18yo cat as her owner died and she hates other cats. The previous owner's daughter has 2 so couldn't have her. She's a bit deaf and cheeky as she was not taught any manners but she did come fully house trained and is very loving. Will try to find a pic.

Hi there thanks for the replies. I want kittens really as i have twins who are toddlers. I just want a cat thats young really that i can train to go outside etc etc. Was going to get an older cat but you don't know what vices its going to have and can't take the chance with kiddies...altho my last cat used to try and bite them!!!!

Im sure if you look in your local ad trader or www.adtrader.co.uk you will find some, kittens are always for sale!
I would recommend getting two though as they keep each other company and seeing as cats are nocturnal you wont want to be sleeping in the same room as them unless you like being kept awake all night! If there is only one then it is likely to cry if left alone at night, we have always got kittens in pairs, its much nicer if you have to go out during the day or anything plus its lovely when they get older and sleep together and things! Just make sure to get them the same sex as you dont want inbreds!
