....there's barely enough entries to fill a section in most categories. I'm sure that the early season events used to be mad to try to get a place at. At this rate they could run one day, not three. Money, weather or will everyone enter at the last minute?

Hope I haven't wasted my all-singing-all-dancing-super-dooper ballot sticker

Hmm, it will be interesting to see - everyone is slow off the mark because of the weather. IF there isn't a big February freeze my suspicion is there will be a late flood of entries and they will be full-ish even if they don't ballot. People are just getting out and about for the first time, putting their head above the parapet, so to speak

Once you've been out once it all looks more manageable - I stuck T's entry in after Hartpury JAS

I'm hanging on until after the unaffilliated event i'm doing on Sunday, to see if my horses will be ready, and what classes I should enter them in.

We're going

But nobody tell the grey horse or he'll immediately start looking for ways to pull all his shoes off simultaneously

must admit..it makes our decision not to enter anything until the end of April seem a bit hasty. I can't believe entries are so low.

I'm also hanging on to see how things turn out - if things don't go as I hope then my entry will be in just before the ballot.

Work that one out!
