It flipping poured with rain her yesterday and was 8 degrees, it was 22 degrees the day before this weather is so up and down at the moment, my field is still like concrete even after all that rain still struggle to get the fence posts in it so not been moving the fence at all.

Same here have to be careful though as yard has quite a bit of grazing and only three and half ponies all inclined to podge.

Half a pony? Isn’t that a little messy???

I currently have 1 and 2 x quarters lol, the 2 x mini's are a quarter each except when it comes to vaccs, farrier etc

Ours are normally out until mid November and on the hay fields until the clocks go back, about 2-3 weeks before they come in. This year YO is talking about leaving them on the hay fields until they come in as they were on the winter fields that bit longer this year and the dry spell meant they didn't really start to recover unitl mid-august. I totally understand why but can't say I'm ecstatic about it as once the clocks go back it'll be a very dark, steep, potentially slippery path down to the fields. They do still have plenty of grass down there at least.

Am still pulling ragwort too which is a nuisance.
