So, first of all- yes our vet has seen it. He didn’t seem overly bothered but wasn’t sure what it is- he has taken some photos and is going to speak to a few colleagues to see if they have any ideas- this was on Monday and we’re waiting to hear back.
I thought I’d ask to see if anyone here has seen anything similar. 6yr old GLP bitch with totally clear veterinary history, absolutely fit and well and eating normally. Nothing at all else out of the ordinary with her.
This appeared a few months ago then seemed to disappear, I’m in human dentistry and just assumed it was caused by trauma, an inflamed taste bud etc as humans can get. However it has come back in exactly the same place, slightly bigger this time and seems to have a couple of really fine hairs growing out of it- it’s not an easy thing to get a photo of but we’ve had a go
. From as much as we can get a feel of it, it’s slightly raised on top as you can see in the image but with no substance/mass underneath.
Any ideas very much welcome but please don’t think I’m using the internet instead of a vet- she’s already been and we’re waiting on a call back!
