My mare has a slightly swollen knee and is being careful with that leg. She is sound and will happily put all weight on the leg with the swelling, but is tending to rest it slightly most of the time. The swelling is no warmer than her other knee, and is on the front of the knee. She has had this for about a week - I presume she just bumped it and the connective tissue is a little bruised, but wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar?
