Wasn't the best day ever
Got there, walked the course. Bloody hell springs to mind
It was meant to be 3"3ft, but it wouldn't have looked out of place in an open, it was massive, i was sh!tting myself lol.
Anyway onto the dressage, she warmed up nicely but then something spooked her in the hedge and she WOULD NOT settle, she was barmy- just about managed to keep her in control in the test but it was rubbish
Onto the showjumping, it wasn't very full up and technical and she went clear easily
Onto the xcountry. It was the biggest course i have EVER jumped lol. It was really big i was so nervous
She flew round the first half of the course, i was feeling really confident, but we then got eliminated at the first part of the water
which was a big rolltop a few strides out of the water, she caught a glimpse of the water and just wouldn't jump it. I missed it out and went through the water and out over the narrow flower box thing and she flew around the rest but then 2 fences from home i got told to stop cos i was eliminated at the water! but they had let me carry on! i was so peed off, but she would of flown the last 2 fences so not too dispondant.
So although it doesn't look good on paper, i am still really pleased with her, as the course was huge, i have seen smaller opens so i am really chuffed, i know she has the ability now, we just have to sort out a few things and we will be well on our way
Oh and i saw Ellie and Issy when i was walking the course, they looked to be doing well
