has anyone used this on there mare and did you find it worked .what other ones have you used instead.looking for something for 2 of my mares.
 
can you feed it long term everyday.my filly that is rising 4 is becoming horible.and my daughters pony is a bit flighty at times and moody towards other horses.both are welshes and have used mag ox heavy but dont realy help thought i would try the Oestress.

Feed straight Agnus Castus instead. That is the active ingredient in most of the moody mare supplements but they don't really contain that much of it. You can buy it straight from Barefoot Basics (google for website). I had reasonable success with Oestress on my old mare but feeding straight AC sorted her out. She was always on it.

Another vote for Agnus Castus.
 
I used it last year definitely worked for us. Is expensive though, my instructor uses one from Pegasus for a very bad mare of hers and is cheaper.

I also bought some Dodson and horrell stroppy mare as very cheap at Blenheim trade stand, that seemed to work for us too
 
Fab stuff, I use it all year round and would say it makes an angel of my mare. I pay £32 for the big tub and it seems to last ages at 1 scoop a day.
