Hi
My horse went lame 5 days ago, he is already under the vet for treatment of an internal melanoma and the vet is due again tomorrow. He is swinging his off hind out to the side and floating his foot before placing it on the ground. Not sure whether this could be related to nerves being affected by the melanoma or whether he has been kicked through the fence by his neighbour (this is possible) does anyone have any idea what this type of lameness is associated with? I've seen it before with stifle problems but there seems to be no pain or swelling around this area x
