Silly question!

I have some Stubben off-set stirrups and I've always used them with the rounded part of the stirrup next to the horse, and the straight part on the outside (when I have my feet in the stirrups that is!).

Anyway - my instructor questioned whether I had them the right way round. I have been using them this way for years and years!

What does anyone else do???

i dont use them i have flexi stirrups but lots of people i know have them :)
:) they are the wrong way round :o the off set bit is supposed to be on the out side so if you fall off your foot doesnt get caught :)

Thanks for your replies! I think that you're probably right and I've had them the wrong way round for the last 10 years!!! They feel really strange the right way round but I guess I'll just have to get used to them! I feel a right numpty though!!!
