Taking my horse to Leahurst tomorrow for scintigraphy and he's going to be away all week.
I am worried about him stressing as he is really spooky and doesn't settle very well when moved.
I am not overly worried about the outcome as what will be will be. I just don't want him to be in constant pain, so I hope he can be cured or his pain managed.
I have already spoken to his breeder, from whom I bought him 5 years ago as a 3 year old and she has said if he is no longer rideable, she will give him a home, which is a weight off my mind.
So, fingers crossed all goes well.

He'll be well looked after there, the vets are fantastic - saved my mare's life and looked after her very well for the week she was there.

My lad had a scintigraphy scan a couple of weeks ago.
Try not to worry about your lad staying away though, all the veterinary hospitals are used to having fractious patients and will be more than able to cope with anything he throws at them

Hope you get a firm diagnosis, good luck!

Cheers Pat. He'll be there till next week. If you wake up one day next week and find him tied to a post outside yours, you know it was bad news.
I'll email you and let you know how we got on.
Little devil looked like a hippo tonight, so much for the bath I gave him yesterday!
