Boo. I haven't towed since my test in November so I am bricking it as well.

We're only going for a hock xray and if that shows nothing then a scan so I'm not too worried about the horse (well I am but not as much as I am about the driving!)

Can I have some HHO vibes for my journey and then maybe some for the Nitty monster as well if that isn't too greedy!

take a deep breath (or several), feel the fear and do it anyway!

I have a paranoia about towing for no apparent reason - I'm just terrified of something going wrong and something happening to Ron - but this time last year I decided that I had 2 options: either not tow, and not do anything with him, or tow and have fun.

I took the latter option and I've got much better confidence now. Plus in that year I've had 2 trailer tyre punctures - both sorted quickly and easily with people to help me

1st was a farmer who flagged me down pointing it out, on the road going through a village which I wanted to park near, he helped me reverse park on his yard, let me go hunting and fixed it for me while I was out (he got a bottle of whisky as a thank you!)

and 2nd was 2wks ago with 2 horses, 3 people and the dog with us, we stopped at a garage 200yds after I spotted the puncture and the guy there changed it for us without getting the horses out for £20 which I was very very happy to pay!

hope it all goes well tomorrow for ponio! - the towing will be fine I'm sure

I don't usually worry about it. But it isn't my trailer or anything so it's put the wind up me a bit!

And it wouldn't be my first choice of places to go to as I have literally no idea what the daft creature has done which is a bit concerning!

Got kicked on the hock and it's as swollen now as it was three weeks ago despite two courses of trim. No heat, no lameness. Very strange. Am hoping it isn't a bone chip or anything sinister as I don't want to have to deal with horsey surgery! Equally though, I want something to show up as I don't want a horse with a leg as permanently fat as it is now!!!

Haha, you're soooo funny. You should be on stage or something!

I've never used it, I don't usually do nervous, but loads of people take it and then drive! I'm not getting lifts with them anymore, no wonder it bl00dy calms you down. And there was me thinking it was placebo. Apparently you're just tiddled!
