Offspring by Kannan? Also in Breeding

I’ve been to see a 5 year old by Kannan who ticks all the boxes. does anyone have any feedback on Kannan offspring. After losing my last horse to OCD and many other issues I didn’t really want another warmblood type but she is just lovely. Obviously i would have her vetted but that only picks up so much. I read somewhere that he ranks positively on the OCD scale with a score of 106, anything over 100 deemed to improve OCD, however I do not know a great deal about this and don’t want to interpret it incorrectly!

A girl I know has bred her own, she definitely has at least one by Kannan if not two. The one I know is defo by Kannan seems to be a very scopey, careful mare SJ with a lot of talent and a nice temperament.

Even for a horse under £5k? What would you x ray? Hocks, fetlocks, stifles? The list could go on?

ive knocked them down on price. It’s done nothing and is very unestablished. I’m a bit naive about breeding as it doesn’t really matter to me. Why would you insure to the hilt??

I’ve also Read that kannan tested negative for WFFS...

I think his stud fee was in the region of €2500, so it is cheap for sure. I’d be getting it well checked out!

If it's a direct Kannan then it's suspiciously cheap!
And yes, I would x-ray even if under 5k, it's not expensive to do in the grand scheme and it will settle your mind.
