Something hilarious happened to me today, and i dont know if i should laugh or cry. Ive changed names for obvious reasons. Well, im a 17 year old girl who is still in college, family and animals come first, im a bit of a good girl :D:p I rarely drink, dont take drugs etc. Well, Ellie and her hubby Alan came up to me today, (both in their 20's with a few sprogs) and told me that amanda (also has a hubby and a sprog) said to them last night that her other half over heard me talking to alan and told him that 'you cant come over tonight, my mums in'. she then told ellie that i was having an affair with alan! (if i can have an affair since im not married? :confused: ) But what the actual HELL?! ellie said that she tried not to laugh and amanda just asked her why she wasnt worried! then amanda had the cheek to text me today to see if i was riding tomorrow?!?! i think NOT! i mean, seriously, im 17! i would NEVER cheat on anyone. EVER. and i would never steal one of my friends husbands! can someone please explain to me how she came to this conclusion?

I can also vouch, that i never said anything of the sort, and nothing that sounded like that. Just thought id also clear that one up :)
 
Chinese whispers than can do a lot of damage if not nipped in the bud.

I'd sort this out now, and tell her you are hurt and insulted that this has been said, and no.....you are NOT going to ride, because you feel you have to distance yourself from them.

Her answer will be YOUR answer.
 
I know. i could have had a black eye if she had said it to someone who hadnt seen the funny side! she carried on today like nothing had happened. Im not amused :)
